Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am also a faculty member in UNC Charlotte's doctoral program in Public Policy. I received my Ph.D. in Government & Social Policy from Harvard University in 2012 and my B.A. in Political Science and Economics from the University of California, Irvine in 2005.
My research focuses on American politics with an emphasis on social policy, health policy, and public policy. I teach courses on public policy, health care policy, research design, and program evaluation.
